The Art of Bathing

One of life’s many questions is what the perfect bath is. We have three key things you should do to make your bath perfect.

Getting the bath ready

It is so important to start your relaxing bath off right. Ensure that the water is hot but not too hot that you can’t hold your hand in the water. You want this to be relaxing not a punishment! Add some bubble bath or even a colourful bath bomb for some enjoyment and to add that amazing smell to your bath. There are also many essential oils out there which all have different benefits. If you want a relaxing bath, we suggest using lavender. Another bath product that you can add to the bath are bath salts. These can come in many different scents to leave your bath smelling divine. They also help loosen up your joints and muscles, adding that extra relaxation after a long day. Head over to our shop for some amazing scents. 

Create a relaxing atmosphere 

There is nothing worse than trying to relax in the bath with bright lights and noise. Start off by creating or simply searching for a relaxing playlist. This will help you get into the relaxing mood and unwind after a stressful day. It will be much harder to relax with bright lights. We suggest dimming the lights or turning them off and adding some candles around the bath and on any countertops. It will give you that relaxing spa experience in the comfort of your own home. Lastly add a bath tray with a drink, such as tea or wine and a good book to read. 

Unwind in the bath

While in the bath it is important to give your body some self-care. Start off with a face mask. These come in many different scents with many different benefits. We have a wide selection to choose from. Everyone wants to keep their skin feeling soft and smooth. Using a body scrub will do just this and will make you feel much more relaxed after a long day. To finish the bath off use a soft fluffy towel to dry off. We suggest keeping a certain towel for your relaxing baths to keep it feeling soft.
